Your rights: you may request public information in writing; you do not have to say why you want it or how you will use it; you will be treated equally with all other requestors; you may inspect or receive copies, and you will be told in advance if charges will exceed the configured threshold; you may complain about charges or about how your request was handled. Our responsibilities: we must promptly produce public information or, if we cannot within the standard window, certify in writing when it will be available; if we want to withhold information we must ask the attorney general for a decision and tell you within the configured deadline.
